The clown applique quilt is from Shirley of Toowoomba and is being quilted with the simplicity e2e machine quilting pattern - note the choice of thread colour matches the background of the applique panels. Similarly with the second quilt, this time from Jenny of Toowoomba, a cream thread is not noticeable on these stitchery panels.
