Chinchilla chinwag and quilts from Quilpie

Barbara from Chinchilla dropped in yesterday at the KoolKat Quilting studio with 2 near identical quilts which are being quilted in red thread with the budget meander pattern.  We chatted about the possibility of workshops for next year.

Janell sent two quilts from Quilpie, the yellow, black and white quilt below is a true king size being almost 110 inches square. The top quilt is being quilted in pale pink in the tea rose e2e machine quilting pattern, and the bottom quilt in the budget meander. KoolKat will be holding a workshop in Quilpie during the first weekend in August.
