KoolKat patterns at Brisbane Stiches and Craft

Stitches and Craft in combination with Queensland Quilters Inc. annual quilt exhibition is on again at Southbank in Brisbane starting tomorrow (Wed 17) through to Sunday. While KoolKat Quilting will not have a vendor's stall, Kathy's pattern designs will be at two stands - Indigo Niche and newcomer Wacky Jacky at Stand D15. Wacky Jacky (wackyjackys.com.au) has a new and exciting range of Bali fabrics and proprieter Jacky Wyatt also runs quilt retreats at Bali. She is running some opening specials, so if you go along, please tell her we sent you.

Our good friends Sue and Colleen of Indigo Niche (indigoniche.com) will also be featuring two of Kathy's patterns made up to suit their fabric range.  Kakadu Dreaming is a modified version of Kathy's Malaysian Merdeka pattern and also has paper templates to help make the blocks.  While Indigo Niche is known primarily for their Japanese fabrics, they also have a great range of Australian Aboriginal-inspired fabrics.

Kasuri Kombo
Also on the Indigo Niche stand is Kasuri Kombo, Kathy's Slices of Spice pattern made up in Moda's Kasuri Jelly Roll fabric range.  Both these quilts are avaiable either as a kit or pattern only.  Indigo Niche also stock Kathy's Japanese Story pattern, which looks great made up in their Japanese fabrics.
