Turf cutting

Kathy came up with the idea of levelling part of the back of our property as we don't have a level surface anywhere on our block.  This has involved cutting and removing turf - having decided we would re-lay our own after the earthworks have been completed.  It has been a long time since those of us in the quilting industry have worked this hard physically.  Also helping were Geoff's mates from Brisbane, Neil and Richard, without whom this project would never take shape.  As of today, 450 square metres of turf have been cut, but it hasn't yet all been rolled and lifted.
