Every quilt tells a story
This is Sheila's quilt made from material offcuts salvaged between 1956 and 1977 from costume theatre wardrobes at:
The Carl Rosa Opera Company
Glyndebourne Festival Opera
Stratford Festival Theatre - Ontario
London West End Theatres.
This is a hexagon quilt representing a life in the theatre and a lifetime's work. The quilt label is A4 size designed in the computer, and printed on a fabric label. For this quilt, we have been asked to complete the binding and provide a hanging sleeve to allow the quilt to be displayed.
