Quilt solutions part 2

Making sure your quilt lies flat. We have to quilt flat. That's what our long arm machines do. So if your quilt is not flat, i.e., has full borders, the fullness has to go somewhere and it has to be eased in - not a good look! So, to get a perfectly flat quilt top, measure though the centre of the quilt each time you add a border, don't just sew along the edge.
