Boonah Quilt Show

We had a successful vendor stand at the Boonah quilt show last weekend. Thanks so much to the KoolKats who called by to say "hello"! It was really nice to get out and about to meet our new and existing customers, and we loved the perfect weather and the gorgeous scenery as we drove to Boonah in the aptly named "Scenic Rim". As usual, I bought stuff home with me, including a gorgeous fabric lined work basket, 2 pairs of Laurel Birch "KoolKat Socks" and a lovely hand painted tin to hold pencils, etc. We are so lucky to have local crafts-people who sell their work at amazingly cheap prices, and they tend to do it just "for the love of it". If you want to support these hard working people, go along to the next available quilt show and check them out! It's the kind of beautiful craft work you just can't buy on the Internet, at the shopping centres, or at the bargain shops.
