I pursued my interest in the cross-over between embroidery and quilting during the Labour Day weekend in May by attending the Echidna Convention "Embroidery in Focus" at Jupiters Casino on the Gold Coast. I took a gamble on asking renowned US embroidery designer Loralie if could take take her photo. The bet paid off when she asked me to be in the photo!
